Project Mati is a visual identity and digital design project developed for a research initiative focused on water management and water resource sustainability in South Africa. The project involved creating a clear and professional brand identity that communicates the importance of responsible water management, research and sustainable resource planning. The design system incorporates logo design, dashboard design, infographic design and data visualisation to present complex research information in a clear and accessible format. The visual language was developed to support effective communication of water-related data, research findings and sustainability initiatives, while creating a consistent identity across digital and informational platforms. The project demonstrates how graphic design, information design and visual communication can help make important environmental research more engaging and easier to understand.
